Creating an Accessible Experience
As part of the Hobby Center Foundation’s mission to “foster accessibility to the performing arts” we seek to provide and expand services that create an accessible and enjoyable theatre-going experience for all patrons.
Here are a few ways we do this:

The Access Team
Volunteer team members are available to assist patrons at performances who have accessibility needs. Learn more about the Access Team.
Interested in being a part of this dedicated team of volunteers? You can join our team of volunteers and after six months experience are eligible to join the Access Team.
Sensory Friendly Performances
Sensory-friendly performances are designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment for families with members on the autism spectrum and others with sensory sensitivities. Accommodations are made to allow for a more relaxed and comfortable experience.
