We’ve been keeping something under wraps, and it’s time for the big reveal.
Surprise! We have a new look!
With our 25th birthday around the corner, we thought we’d make an entrance with a look and feel that fully expresses who we are today.
We’ve evolved. We’ve grown.
So let’s get reacquainted.
From the beginning, we’ve had spectacular Broadway, of course. We’ve hosted hometown and global stars.
But now there’s a lot more happening at the Hobby Center. We’re curating new series and thinking about our impact in a different way.
Beyond Broadway brings you artists you love. Houston Is Inspired is all about Houston artists and their brilliant work. There are music and stories with Live at the Founders Club, great chats with Breaking Bread, and thousands of fifth graders being introduced to the performing arts for free through the ExxonMobil Discovery Series. And there are more artists from around the world on our stages than ever before.
So, yes, we look a little different. And you’ll see it throughout the Hobby Center, on our website, in your inbox, and more.
There’s a new logo, too.
Look closely at the “H” monogram and you’ll spot a “C” tucked inside—the shapes say hello to our windows as the light shines through.
But there’s more to this refresh than a new logo and colors.
We heard from so many of about what the Hobby Center means to you. Again and again, it came back to how you feel when you’re here. And the wonderful thing is, that feeling can be different every time you visit. You can:
- BE MOVED by a story.
- BE SURPRISED by something you’ve never experienced.
- BE INSPIRED by an artist you didn’t know before.
- BE AMAZED by the spectacle.
- BE HERE with your community.
At the heart of it all are three things we hope everyone finds here: joy, belonging, and discovery.
With the creativity of our friends at Pentagram New York, we’ve brought all of that to life in a new look and feel that celebrates who we are today and makes room for what’s next.
There’s so much more to experience together. And we can’t wait to share it with you.
