Experience the Hobby Center in a whole new way! The Founders Club at the Hobby Center is transformed into an intimate live music club. Bring a group or meet new friends at cabaret-style table seating! Full bar and light bites available before and during the show.
Wild Woman is breakout jazz-vocalist, Kate Kortum’s, sophomore album. The record features reimagined standards and originals that explore a woman’s relationship with complex emotions like obsession, promiscuity, self-pride, and hatred. Native Houstonian Kortum brings a fresh twist to familiar favorites in her homecoming album release. In this celebration show, Kortum gives audiences a glimpse into the past, present, and future of jazz through her unique arrangements, improvisatory deliveries, and the unmistakable chemistry she has with her band.
