Presented by Houston Latin Philharmonic
The Houston Latin American Philharmonic presents its annual Viva Latin America to close with honors Hispanic Heritage Month. The guest artists for this special concert are Guillermo Davila- the idol of generations, and Jorge Muñiz – El Coque de Mexico. The program includes Sólo Pienso en Ti, Es Como Es, Barco a la Deriva, Me Fascinas, Somos Novios, Si Nos Dejan, Por Debajo de la Mesa, Luz y Sombra, Por Amor, and much more.
The Houston Latin Phil is the only full-size professional orchestra in the United States created to promote and elevate Latin American music, nusicians, and composers. The orchestra is led by American-Venezuelan maestro Glenn Garrido.
