Live at the Founders Club presents unforgettable live music in an intimate club setting with sweeping views of downtown Houston.

The Devil I Knew brings Grammy-winning vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Nicole Zuraitis to the Founders Club for an evening of bold, contemporary jazz and storytelling through song.

Featuring music from her acclaimed album The Devil I Knew, Zuraitis explores identity, love, sin, and redemption through a deeply personal and musically adventurous collection of original work.

The program also celebrates women composers of the past century with selections from her album Siren Songs, weaving together original music and reinterpretations across eras and styles. Blending jazz, soul, and modern songwriting, Zuraitis brings emotional depth, fearless musicianship, and one of the most distinctive voices in jazz today to an unforgettable night of music experienced up close.

About the Artist

Nicole Zuraitis is a two-time Grammy-Award winning and six-time Grammy-nominated jazz singer-songwriter, pianist, producer, arranger, and winner of the prestigious 2021 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medal. With a “heart as big as her remarkable voice,” (Jazz Police), Zuraitis is a trailblazing artist who is redefining vocal jazz and jazz songwriting, earning her a place as one of the top artists and prolific songwriters (Broadway World) to watch in jazz and beyond, or as she likes to call it, the modern songbook.
