APERIO, Music of the Americas concludes its 2024-2025 concert season downtown Houston at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Zilkha Hall with New Venezuelan Masters, a program of folkloric and classical music showcasing the prodigious skill and fiery virtuosity of Alexis Cárdenas – one of Venezuela’s most important living violin virtuosos – supported by the masterful musicianship of Jorge Glem on the cuatro and Elvis Martinez on bass. This band of Joropo masters are sure to deliver a performance unlike anything you have experienced before!
