Live at the Founders Club presents unforgettable live music in an intimate club setting with sweeping views of downtown Houston.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening of Latin rhythms, jazz, and song led by Houston native Leo Sandoval and the Jazz Houston All Stars in the intimate setting of the Founders Club.

An alumnus of HSPVA and the Jazz Houston Youth Orchestra, Sandoval brings expressive vocals and masterful guitar work to a performance rooted in both tradition and improvisation. Joined by the Jazz Houston All Stars, the evening moves between Latin American musical influences and jazz with warmth, energy, and unmistakable Houston spirit.

Blending rhythm, storytelling, and musical connection, this special performance celebrates the sounds and influences that continue to shape Houston’s cultural landscape up close in a venue designed for listening.

About Jazz Houston

Jazz Houston promotes the cultivation of jazz music globally through Performance, Education, and Community Outreach, and honors the Houstonians and Texans who have and continue to be major contributors to Jazz through the celebration of their legacies and the performance of their works.

About the Artist

Houston-born guitarist and vocalist Leo Sandoval is currently studying at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. Influenced by jazz, Brazilian music, rock, folk, and R&B, he brings a fresh and versatile approach to his music. Sandoval has performed alongside renowned artists including Sean Jones, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Helen Sung, and Mike Rodriguez. Through his compositions and performances, he invites audiences to rediscover the music they love while exploring new sounds and perspectives.
