The Anirudh Varma Collective, a contemporary Indian classical ensemble from New Delhi, India is led by the brilliant pianist, composer & producer, Anirudh Varma, the Collective includes musicians & artistes from across India, America, and Canada. The Collective aims to discover, re-discover, and present the tradition & diversity of Indian music in a contemporary manner in order to reach and connect with all interests, nationalities, and ages. They bring freshness into the timeless traditions of Indian music which resonates with a global audience. The Collective has released 2 full-length albums, Perspectives (2018) and Homecoming (2022), both of which have received critical acclaim. They have performed extensively to packed audiences all over the US, including at the Jaipur Literary Festival at Rothko Chapel, on September 17, where Houstonians were treated to a scintillating performance by this talented group (all under 30!)

With an impressive repertoire and a performance history of over 500 shows worldwide, the Collective has earned much acclaim. They were awarded the Best Independent Band of the Year award at the prestigious Clef Music Awards in Mumbai. The ensemble represents a unique collaboration of musical talents and cultural influences.
