Join the Houston Symphony at The Hobby Center for a special performance celebrating 75 years of Indian independence, featuring violin icon Dr. L. Subramaniam and vocalist Kavita Krishnamurthy. Subramaniam leads the world premiere of his Mahatma Symphony, written to commemorate this historic anniversary, and an ensemble comprised of traditional Indian instruments joins the orchestra.
