Please join the Texas Medical Center Orchestra in celebrating its Night at the Opera featuring soloists from Opera in the Heights. In the first half, sit back and relax while you hear works by Verdi, Bizet and Delibes. In the second half, the orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky Polonaise from Eugene Onegin and Saint-Saëns Bacchanale from Samson & Delilah. Established in November 2000 and celebrating its 18th season, the Texas Medical Center Orchestra is one of very few community orchestras in the United States and in the world with its origin in the health professions. The mission of the orchestra is to provide a fellowship in music and medicine for its members, contribute culturally to the community, and raise awareness for medical and other local charities through its concerts. Come and see why the Texas Medical Center Orchestra is just the right medicine.
