WindSync is North America’s foremost emerging wind quintet. The ensemble has distinguished itself among classical music ensembles and is internationally recognized for dramatic and adventurous programing in venues ranging from concert halls to museums, universities, schools, and national parks. The young, energetic group plays exclusively from memory, including elements of staging and choreography, and focuses on building connections with audiences through dynamic concert programming and charismatic stage presence.
WindSync, presents its Zilkha Hall Debut with an inspired program featuring David Maslanka's Quintet for Winds No. 3 and original WindSync arrangements of works by Ravel, Respighi, and Bernstein. The group looks forward to sharing their sold-out Carnegie Hall Debut concert in downtown Houston and receiving the audience with a special reception after the show.
